Coolabah Capital Investments

Coolabah Capital Investments is an independent global active fixed-income manager founded in 2011 and based in Australia. The firm manages portfolios for Smarter Money Investments, the BetaShares Active Australian Hybrid ETF and institutional clients, and reports more than US$14 billion in assets under management. Its investment approach seeks to generate returns through analysis of liquid, high-grade global credit and sovereign securities, rather than relying primarily on additional interest-rate, default or illiquidity risk.

Coolabah offers a range of exchange-traded funds and managed funds covering Australian and global bonds, floating-rate credit, short-term income, long-short credit, sovereign bonds and sustainability-focused debt. Products include the Coolabah Global Floating-Rate High Yield Complex ETF, the Smarter Money Long-Short Credit Fund, the Australian Credit Income Active ETF and the Global Carbon Leaders Complex ETF. Strategies span long-only, long-short, zero-duration and long-duration approaches. The firm is partly owned by its investment team, with the remaining stake held by Pinnacle Investment Management. Coolabah operates across offices in Sydney, Melbourne, Auckland, London and Miami.
