Coolbaits Lure Company is a San Diego fishing tackle brand founded in 2012 by two brothers who draw on their own fishing experience and customer feedback to develop its products. The company is known for its original Southern California “Down Under” underspin, designed for freshwater and saltwater fishing. Available in multiple sizes and colors, the underspins feature nickel-plated blades, dual ball-bearing swivels, UV400 wormkeepers and chemically sharpened Mustad hooks. Matching trailers and kickers are also offered.
Coolbaits’ broader range includes Coolballs, an urchin-style bass bait; The Dart jig heads; A-Rigs designed to cover water quickly; trailers; and fishing gear, including branded apparel. The company also offers BF Urchin Saddle hooks in several weights for rigging Coolballs. Its products are intended for a variety of fishing styles and locations, from lakes and rivers to inshore and deep-sea waters. Customers can browse the catalog online, find a store locator, and access Coolballs rigging and fishing tips, videos, and company updates through the brand’s website and social channels.
