Cooperative Coffees

Cooperative Coffees is a roaster-owned North American importer of fair trade and organic green coffee sourced from producers around the world. The cooperative connects roasters with coffee-growing communities through long-term relationships intended to support small-scale farmers and create regenerative, sustainable impacts. Roasters can explore coffee offerings from different origins and begin as customers, with the possibility of becoming cooperative members when their goals and values align.

Beyond importing coffee, Cooperative Coffees invests in the communities behind it. For every pound of green coffee purchased, US$0.03 goes to its Impact Fund, which supports climate resilience and adaptation through farmer-led economic development, food security programs, infrastructure, reforestation, and other initiatives. Its Premium Lot Program makes small quantities of high-end green coffee available to members while encouraging ongoing quality improvement within producer organizations.

The cooperative emphasizes lasting producer partnerships, with many extending for more than a decade. It also provides community resources, events, articles, and forums to help members and coffee professionals stay connected and informed.
