Cooperativa I Sogni

Cooperativa Sociale I Sogni is a social cooperative based in Val Gandino, in the province of Bergamo, Italy. Since 2014, it has promoted the rights and inclusion of people with disabilities and their families, supporting pathways toward autonomy, dignity, and community participation. Its roots lie in the Gruppo GE.DI. association, founded by parents in 2004; that commitment led to the opening of La Casa dei Sogni, the area’s first socio-healthcare community.

The cooperative works across four complementary areas: residential services, daytime education, employment inclusion, and social housing. Its residential and housing services provide supported living, while individualized daytime programs help people develop skills and social relationships. Employment initiatives include social beekeeping and other productive activities that combine economic value with meaningful participation. Educators, support workers, and volunteers create tailored pathways that respect each person’s abilities and pace. Operating in the Gandino area, I Sogni also welcomes families seeking information about its projects, services, or facilities and offers ways to get in touch or support its work.
