La Coccinella is a nonprofit social cooperative established in 2007 by people with professional expertise and experience. Based in the Rovigo area of Italy, it works to address local employment and community needs through practical services designed to support inclusion, wellbeing and participation. Its activities span education, employment, social care and the environment.
Educational services include support for older adults, home-based education, assistance for people with specific learning disorders, study support and school transport. Employment services include the Il Girasole workshop and help with workplace inclusion. Social and health services include social work and social-service access support, home care, nursing assistance and a blood collection centre.
The cooperative also manages an ecological centre and waste transport services. At its Castelguglielmo office, visitors can purchase single tickets for Rovigo’s extraurban Busitalia service; season passes are not sold there. With its focus on responding to real community needs, La Coccinella aims to help build a more inclusive future through locally delivered services
