La Goccia is a social cooperative based in Villa Verucchio, Italy, founded in 1978 by a group of young people. Guided by the belief that support should be grounded in justice and inclusion, it provides services and opportunities for people who may face social or personal barriers.
Its services include a day socio-rehabilitation centre for adults with disabilities aged 18 to 65, and a socio-occupational centre where work plays a central role. The cooperative also operates a mechanical workshop, aiming to add social value to the finished product. Its activities include the Snoezelen room project, “Il Cielo in una Stanza,” and the Social Henhouse initiative, which invites people to adopt a hen and receive fresh eggs. The henhouse is part of a project and brand devised by Seacoop Società Cooperativa Sociale.
La Goccia also organises community activities and events, and welcomes support through Italy’s 5x1000 tax donation scheme. With members, staff and service users at its centre, the cooperative combines care, work and community participation in its local mission.
