Cooperativa Mosaico

Cooperativa Sociale Il Mosaico is a social cooperative based in the province of Como, Italy, where it has worked since 1991 to support people with disabilities. It designs, delivers, and directly manages services intended to foster personal autonomy, social inclusion, and the transition into adulthood. The cooperative aims to be a specialist point of reference for people with disabilities, their families, and local institutions, combining professional expertise with a strong commitment to human values.

Its services include residential communities, day programs, socio-educational activities, courses and pathways, integrated daytime activities, social housing, and “After Us” support through House School. These services are tailored to individual life journeys and needs. Il Mosaico also runs La Bottega, a shop offering handmade crafts, gift ideas, and charitable favors for special occasions. Many items are made with the participation of people who attend its services, and purchases help support the cooperative’s activities and projects. The organization also welcomes donations and volunteers, and shares information about its work through publications, news, and social initiatives.
