OCEANE SCA

Océane is a Nantes-region fruit and vegetable cooperative founded in 1993 by nine cucumber and tomato growers. Based in La Chevrolière, in Loire-Atlantique, it now brings together more than 60 growers from Loire-Atlantique, Vendée and Indre-et-Loire. Members share a responsible set of standards, expertise and resources to supply fresh produce with consistent quality and carefully managed volumes.

The cooperative offers a broad range of seasonal fruits and vegetables, including tomatoes, cucumbers, aubergines, peppers, leafy greens, root vegetables and squash. Its signature tomato range includes classic, côtelée, heart-shaped and cherry varieties, while Sweet Palermo peppers are available in five colours. Océane coordinates production and markets produce through its platform in La Chevrolière, where growers and employees work together to prepare and distribute orders.

Sustainability and traceability are central to its approach. The cooperative highlights certifications and initiatives including GLOBALG.A.P., LEAF, Demain la Terre and Sol en Vie, as well as a range of tomatoes guaranteed to contain zero pesticide residues. Its aim is to combine freshness, food safety and responsible farming.
