COORDINARE is the Primary Health Network (PHN) for South Eastern NSW. They work closely with government, non-profit organizations, healthcare providers, service partners, and communities to coordinate local health services and support those at risk of poor health outcomes. Their ultimate goal is to establish a coordinated regional health system that delivers exceptional care, champions healthy choices, and fosters resilient communities.

COORDINARE offers various products and services to fulfill this vision. They provide career opportunities and have a leadership structure that ensures strong accountability and oversight. Their Board comprises members with expertise in aged care, education, research, evaluation, and private health insurance, bringing a unique blend of private and public perspectives.

The organization also has Clinical Councils that facilitate communication between the Board, the Executive Team, and general practitioners. These councils contribute to planning service responses, both at the practice and population health level, and help address other relevant issues. Additionally, COORDINARE has a Community Advisory Committee that advises on strategies for engaging with regional communities and provides valuable insights into local health needs and priorities.

Supported by two Local Health Districts, Illawarra Shoalhaven LHD and Southern NSW LHD, COORDINARE serves a large and diverse region, spanning across 11 local government areas and one territory. With a focus on improving the health, care, and wellbeing of the population, they work collaboratively to achieve positive change and deliver better health outcomes for the communities they serve
