The Coalition for Peace in Africa (COPA) is an African network of peacebuilders dedicated to promoting peace, justice, human rights, and development. Their mission is to create a critical mass of individuals capable of contributing to post-conflict reconstruction across the continent. COPA offers a variety of programmes and services to fulfill their purpose.

Their Capacity Building Programme provides practical support, equipping individuals and organizations with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to navigate volatile and potentially violent situations. Over the past decade, they have trained over 1000 practitioners in peacebuilding, development, human rights, and humanitarianism. COPA also offers a Women in Leadership Programme, empowering women and organizations involved in peacebuilding and political processes to localize UN resolutions, advocate for women's leadership, and raise awareness of women's rights.

Additionally, they have a Trauma Awareness, Management & Resilience program that raises awareness about the impact of trauma on peacebuilding. COPA's Research, Documentation & Learning initiatives aim to record and disseminate positive experiences, as well as lay the foundation for an African Peace Institute.
