About Coperes
Coperes is the Patronal Council of Renewable Energies in Senegal, a strong and innovative local private sector contributing to the advancement of renewable energies. Their mission is to tackle the challenge of developing and promoting renewable energies in Africa. Led by President Mamadou Saliou SOW, Coperes aims to achieve energy self-sufficiency and reduce CO2 emissions in Senegal.
With several years of experience, a dedicated network of members, and strategic partnerships, Coperes has made significant contributions to the sector. They have invested billions in renewable energy projects, installed multiple megawatts of production capacity, and created numerous direct and indirect jobs. Additionally, Coperes provides training and resources for technicians, and actively engages in the study and analysis of renewable energies in Senegal.
