COPES GynOncSupport

COPES, which stands for Cervical, Ovarian, Perineal, and Endometrial Support, is a dedicated charity that has been actively serving the community since 2005. Established by a team of healthcare professionals and patients, COPES aims to provide essential support, raise awareness, and contribute to research on gynaecological cancers, particularly within the Essex area. The organization focuses on patient support, education, and early diagnosis to help reduce the incidence of late-stage cases.

Under the leadership of a volunteer Executive Committee, COPES organizes monthly support meetings, well-being events, educational programs, and fundraising activities. Collaboration with the MSE Hospital’s Gynae Oncology team ensures that they deliver the best treatment options available to patients. As COPES approaches its 20th anniversary, it continues to expand its reach and impact, consistently seeking new volunteers and committee members to enhance its efforts. With a commitment to empowering women affected by gynaecological cancers, COPES remains a vital resource in the community.
