Copper Head Ranch is a Texas ranch dedicated to preserving Spanish Mustangs and Colonial Spanish Horses and sharing its appreciation of the breed. Founded out of a love for these historically significant horses, the ranch raises its foals and gets to know each horse’s personality as it matures. Its goal is to match every horse with a suitable rider and a home where it will be valued.

The ranch offers Spanish Mustangs for sale, including adult horses and young horses such as yearlings, colts, and fillies. Adult Mustangs are trained for halter, bit and bridle, and riding, and are finished off site for 30 days before being offered for all-purpose use. Both mares and geldings are available. Buyers can also choose a young horse to raise and train themselves. Copper Head Ranch considers each horse’s character and inclinations when helping prospective owners find a match, and invites visitors to arrange a visit.
