Coppershell Animal Rescue

Coppershell Animal Rescue is a registered UK animal welfare charity based at Coppershell Farm in Gastard, Wiltshire. The sanctuary provides care, shelter and attention to neglected, unwanted and abandoned animals, helping them recover and, where possible, find permanent homes. Its work includes rescuing animals in partnership with other rescues and authorities, arranging veterinary treatment, providing a safe place to live and supporting adoption from initial checks through to aftercare. Residents seeking homes can include cats, pigs, goats, cockerels and guinea pigs. The charity also assists wildlife in collaboration with local vets.

Coppershell welcomes visitors at events and open days, where people can meet the animals and learn about its work. Supporters can contribute through donations, monthly giving, sponsorship of individual residents, purchases from its shop, or by volunteering and offering practical or professional skills. Sponsorship packs include a welcome letter, certificate, sticker and information card about the chosen animal. Coppershell says it has no paid employees and directs funds raised back into the sanctuary and animal care.
