Kenya Copyright Board (KECOBO) is a State Corporation responsible for the administration and enforcement of copyright and related rights in Kenya. Established under the Copyright Act 2001, the Board plays a vital role in organizing legislation on copyright, conducting training programs, and enlightening the public on copyright matters. They also license and supervise the activities of collective management organizations and maintain an extensive databank on authors and their works.

Comprised of 9 members from the public and private sectors, the Board ensures the observance of international treaties and conventions related to copyright and protects traditional knowledge and cultural expressions.
