Coracao Curumim

Coração Curumim, formally the Association for Supporting the Treatment of Children with Heart Conditions (AATCC), is a nonprofit organization based in Campinas, São Paulo, Brazil. Established in 2016, it provides social and practical assistance to children with heart conditions and supports their treatment, while helping families navigate the challenges of care.

Its initiatives include dignified accommodation, a “Heart Card,” psychotherapy, nutritional support, and donations of specialized milk and food baskets. The association also runs a welcoming group for mothers and works in partnership with Vera Cruz Hospital in Campinas. Beyond direct support, Coração Curumim raises public awareness of congenital heart conditions through campaigns and commemorative activities, and offers healthcare professionals training through lectures and courses.

The organization is sustained by donations of money and goods, as well as funds raised through charitable events. Its work is supported by an executive team and volunteers who contribute across its activities. Coração Curumim also shares guidance, stories, testimonials, and event information to connect with families, supporters, and the wider community.
