Noohiri Diving & Water Sport Center is a renowned brand headquartered in Feridhoo Island, Alif-Alif Atoll, Maldives. Situated inside the village, just a short distance from the harbor, the center is a PADI 5 stars resort that offers a wide range of aquatic activities. Recognizing the critical state of coral reefs in the Maldives, Noohiri Diving & Water Sport Center has taken action through their Coral Restoration Project.

In collaboration with the Council of Feridhoo and the University of Padova, the center aims to rebuild the damaged coral reefs by involving students, universities, locals, and even tourists. They carefully select sheltered areas with optimal conditions and install nursery structures to facilitate faster growth of small coral fragments. Once matured, the corals are cautiously transplanted back into the suffering reef to restore it.

Not only does the center focus on coral restoration, but it is also committed to promoting reef health and conservation. They actively address natural and anthropogenic stressors such as coastal development, pollution, overfishing, and diseases that threaten the coral reefs. With a dedicated team that includes a scientific coordinator, marine biologists, financial managers, a logistic manager, and an assistant & dive operator, Noohiri Diving & Water Sport Center is spearheading efforts to protect and restore the vital coral reef ecosystems in the Maldives
