Corgi is an iconic brand that has been producing diecast models since 1956. Initially launched by Mettoy, the brand quickly gained popularity and has since produced over a billion units. What were once just toys for boys have now become highly sought-after collectibles.

Corgi cars, trucks, and buses are predominantly created as Limited Editions and are often sold out soon after release. While some models can fetch top prices in the hundreds of pounds, diecast scale model collecting is an accessible hobby that can be enjoyed by all. The name Corgi was chosen for its catchy nature and its association with the Royal Family, as the models were produced in Swansea.

Corgi models are known for their attention to detail, such as the inclusion of windows and innovative features like Glidamatic spring suspension and opening bonnets and boots. Their most famous model is undoubtedly James Bond's Aston Martin DB5, featuring an ejector seat and front-mounted machine guns. With a rich history spanning 50 years, Corgi has produced models of almost every type of car, bus, and truck.

From the 1966 Batmobile to the John Player Special Lotus Formula 1 racing car, Corgi has captured the imagination of collectors worldwide. Whether you're a long-time enthusiast or new to the hobby, Corgi offers a wide range of meticulously crafted models to suit every interest and budget
