About Corinthian Vintage Auto Racing
Corinthian Vintage Auto Racing (CVAR) is a community of enthusiasts who restore, preserve, and race vintage sports cars. The organization hosts wheel-to-wheel race weekends at major circuits in Texas, Oklahoma, and Louisiana, offering participants practice, qualifying, and racing sessions. Its focus is on taking part, enjoying historic automobiles, and building camaraderie rather than pursuing victory at any cost. Members are expected to uphold high standards of safety, conduct, and ethics, and to respect fellow drivers and race workers.
CVAR supports both experienced racers and newcomers. A semi-annual driver’s school helps members develop their skills in a structured setting, while registration information and resources are available for prospective, returning, and visiting vintage drivers. The organization also provides race classification rules, safety guidance, forms, results, championship information, and track records. People who do not drive can get involved as corner workers, helping run events and watching the action from close by. Spectators can attend races to see authentically prepared vintage cars, meet drivers, and enjoy the racing.
