About Cork City Partnership
Cork City Partnership is a local and community development company based in Cork City, Ireland. Founded in 1992, our mission is to improve the opportunities and life chances of individuals experiencing poverty and social exclusion. Our goal is to promote equality and inclusion for all members of our community.
We offer a range of programmes and initiatives aimed at achieving our mission. These include the Social Inclusion and Community Activation Programme (SICAP) 2018-2023, the Local Area Employment Service (LAES), the Tús Community Work Placement Initiative, the Friendly Call Cork programme, the Cork Drug and Alcohol Prevention Programme, and the Empowering Communities Programme. Through these initiatives, we provide education, employment, and community development opportunities to empower individuals to reach their full potential.
At Cork City Partnership, we envision an inclusive and just society where each person is encouraged and enabled to thrive. Our work with older people in Cork City is particularly significant, as we strive to support this specific target group under the SICAP Programme.
