Founded by Danielle Nichols, a Stowe native with over a decade of experience coaching skiers around the country, Cork brings together incredible, gluggable, authentic natural wines from around the world to Vermont. Danielle's love for adventure led her to some stunning global locales for world-class skiing, where she discovered amazing wines.

In 2011, Cork Waterbury was born, and Danielle later opened Cork Stowe in 2015. Joining Danielle is Katie Nichols, who fell in love with the wine industry when she tasted Lamoresca Nerocapitano, an old vine frappato from Sicily. As Cork's general manager and wine director, Katie takes on the challenges of running the restaurant and retail shop, showcasing untamed wines and artful concepts.
