Corner Room Design

Corner Room Design is a New Zealand creative studio and gallery founded by designer Ali Ward. Inspired by her extensive travels, Ali creates immersive interiors that bring together colour, materials, modern and vintage elements, and the character of a space’s history, location, and architecture. The studio works across residential, hospitality, commercial, and retail settings, helping clients create environments that feel distinctive and engaging.

Art is central to Corner Room Design’s approach. Its gallery offers unique, one-off artworks selected to add style, culture, and personality to homes and workplaces, with the aim of making original art accessible to different budgets and spaces. Featured works include pieces such as The Pūriri, Galah, The Kiss, and The Dandelion.

Services include interior design, art styling, and commissioned artwork. Art styling begins with understanding a client’s preferences and space, while commissions offer the opportunity to collaborate with Ali or another artist. Corner Room Design also sells artwork through its online shop and shares new collections and offers by email.
