About Cornerstone Church
Cornerstone Church | Liberty Township is a member of the Global Methodist Church, located in West Chester Township, but also serving the communities of Liberty Township, Fairfield, Fairfield Township, and Monroe. Our goal is to help individuals fully follow Jesus Christ through worship, small-groups, and missions. We believe that everyone has a purpose and matters, regardless of where they are in life.
We understand that discovering that purpose can be confusing and overwhelming, which is why we provide a strong community of friends who are on the same journey. Together, we can laugh, grow, and serve. At Cornerstone Church, we believe that being part of a church community is important for the whole family.
We partner with parents to raise the next generation of Christ followers and help them take their next steps in their relationship with God. We also have opportunities for children and teens to develop relationships with each other and with God. One of our passions is serving the global community and showing God's love.
We are committed to supporting and engaging in relationships that bring hope and meaning to a hurting world. Our mission is to change lives by leading people into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ. We accomplish this through five distinct habits of discipleship: come, connect, grow, serve, and bring.
These habits are developed over time, with the help of others and alongside the people we can also support. We believe that people matter to God, therefore they matter to us. We strive to be culturally relevant while remaining doctrinally pure.
Prayer is the life-breath of our ministry, and the Bible is our guiding Word for preaching and teaching. We believe in glorifying God through worship and creating a sense of community through both family and small groups. A relationship with Christ leads to a life of joyful service, and our leadership is centered on Christ-likeness.
