Cornhusker Charters

Cornhusker Charters LLC offers fishing and sightseeing trips in the Charlotte Harbor area, led by Captain Tim “Corndog” Cornish. The charter invites guests to explore the region’s waters and fish for species including redfish, snook, sea trout, tarpon, cobia, mackerel, flounder, snapper, and black drum. Boca Grande, known as the Tarpon Capital of the World, is among the area’s notable fishing destinations.

Inshore fishing trips are available for four, six, or eight hours, with rates based on three anglers and an additional charge for a fourth. Tarpon trips run from April through September and are offered in six-, eight-, and twelve-hour options, with pricing based on two anglers and an added fee for each additional person. For a different experience, guests can book three-hour sunset or sightseeing tours to Boca Pass, Cabbage Key, or Cayo Costa, or simply enjoy a boat ride. These tours accommodate up to six passengers. The business operates daily from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. and is based in Punta Gorda, Florida.
