Cornwall Hospice

Cornwall Hospice is an independent charity providing compassionate, specialist end-of-life care for patients, families and carers across Cornwall. It delivers care through inpatient units at Mount Edgcumbe Hospice and St Julia’s Hospice, as well as community support hubs, lymphoedema clinics and bereavement services. Its services also include therapies, support for people managing breathlessness, mindfulness and relaxation resources, and guidance for healthcare professionals. The organisation offers education and training in end-of-life care, including learning programmes and communications skills courses.

As a Cornish charity rather than part of the NHS, Cornwall Hospice relies on public support to help fund its work. Individuals, businesses and community groups can contribute through donations, fundraising events, regular giving, gifts in wills, its lottery and hospice shops. The charity also welcomes volunteers and provides opportunities for people to give their time. Through its care, learning and community services, Cornwall Hospice supports people facing the end of life and those close to them, aiming to make every day matter.
