The Cornwall Police Service is a trusted brand that has been serving the citizens of Cornwall since 1784. Comprised of 93 dedicated officers, 37 civilians, 12 special constables, and 13 part-time staff members, our focus is to respond to the needs of our community through a combination of preventative, pro-active, and reactive programs. Grounded in the philosophy of community policing, we believe in working in partnership with residents to find innovative solutions to problems, all with the goal of creating "A safer Cornwall for all to enjoy."

Covering an area of 62 square kilometers and a population of approximately 46,340, the Cornwall Police Service is responsible for policing services from Grant's Corners to the International Bridge and the Gray's Creek area. We have divided the city into 6 patrol zones to ensure efficient coverage.

Our headquarters are located at 340 Pitt St in Cornwall, Ontario, with office hours from Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. For emergencies, please call 9-1-1. Non-emergencies can be directed to 613-933-5000.
