**Brand Description:**
Launched in March 2020 amidst the rising COVID-19 infections in Europe, this website was initially dedicated to providing critical information on the pandemic in Italy and its regions. Recognizing the need for broader data, the site quickly expanded to include insights from Spain, Germany, France, and the UK. By April, the demands of manual updates became overwhelming, leading to a temporary halt. However, by the summer of 2020, the brand embraced automation through Python and JSON files, transforming the data collection process. The focus shifted to positivity rates—viewed as a more accurate gauge of the pandemic's impact than raw case numbers—allowing users to better understand the crisis in their own countries. With a mission to equip individuals with pertinent information, the website aims to clarify the status of the COVID-19 pandemic, despite current limitations in data sources. The intention is to foster informed decisions and alleviate confusion during these challenging times.
