Corpo AIB Piemonte

The Corpo Volontari Antincendi Boschivi del Piemonte (AIB Piemonte) is a dedicated volunteer organization committed to combating forest fires across the Piedmont region of Italy. With over 5,000 volunteers organized into 217 teams, AIB Piemonte is essential in emergency response, preventive measures, and restoring ecological balance in forested areas. The organization mobilizes resources efficiently to monitor high-risk areas, detect fire outbreaks using ground and aerial surveillance, and execute fire suppression operations by trained personnel.

In addition to direct firefighting efforts, AIB Piemonte engages in essential activities such as maintaining firebreaks, ensuring the functionality of firefighting equipment, and providing civil protection services to safeguard the environment and community from natural disasters. Enthusiastic volunteers play a pivotal role, encouraging new members to join and contribute. The organization also promotes community involvement through events, educational initiatives, and offers avenues for donations to support their mission. Through collaboration with regional government and technical support, AIB Piemonte serves as a vital protector of the region's natural landscape.
