Corporal Frisk

Corporal Frisk, the engaging blog authored by Robin Häggblom, serves as a platform for exploring the intricate realms of Finnish defense and national security. Drawing inspiration from an 18th-century ancestor who served in the military, Robin provides thoughtful analyses, insightful news, and personal opinions reflecting his experiences as a reservist and his academic background in mechanical engineering.

The blog aims to enhance the discussion surrounding Finland's defense policies and practices, drawing parallels with the Swedish discourse on similar topics. As a member of the Swedish-speaking minority in Finland, Robin bridges gaps in knowledge between both nations, offering readers perspectives enriched by his ability to navigate discussions in both languages.

While focusing primarily on naval matters related to the Baltic Sea region, the blog does not limit itself to strict topics, embracing a wide array of defense-related subjects.
