Corredor Rioeste is a brand that focuses on promoting government transparency and enhancing food security and nutrition in Zacapa, Guatemala. Under their "Government Openness and Citizen Participation" line of action, they facilitate the creation of municipal open government units and promote citizen participation through a network and platform for engagement.

In terms of food security and nutrition, Corredor Rioeste implements strategies such as the establishment of agroforestry gardens and municipal nurseries, ensuring access to healthy and nutritious food.

The impact of their efforts is evident, with over 800 individuals directly benefiting from the project, 30 communities experiencing positive changes, and 59 municipal officials trained in transparency and accountability. Additionally, they engage citizens in planning and strategy development, with 120 individuals involved in co-designing plans and strategies.
