Corroboree Athletics

Corroboree Athletics is the oldest Little Athletics club in the Australian Capital Territory (ACT), founded in 1970. Nestled in the heart of Canberra at Dickson Playing Fields, this family-oriented club fosters a fun and interactive environment for children aged 5 to 16, promoting healthy living through the joys of running, jumping, and throwing. The club's season runs from October to March, with meets held every Saturday morning, allowing young athletes to engage in skill development through play-based sessions that cover various athletic events.

Corroboree Athletics emphasizes community involvement, encouraging parents to assist with event management roles, ensuring a smooth and supportive experience for all participants. With a focus on fair competition from club-level activities to ACT Championships, Corroboree is dedicated to nurturing young talent while promoting camaraderie and sportsmanship. The club offers accessible information regarding registrations, event calendars, and parental roles through its informative booklet, making it easy for families to get involved and stay connected.
