Corsets Queen is a brand that specializes in crafting high-quality corsets for women. Our story began with Lad (Pramod Kumar), who hails from the small city of Patna in Bihar, India. It all started when Pramod was completing his Bachelor's Degree from Delhi University in 2003.
He had a colleague residing in the UK who was deeply fascinated by fashion, new trends, and historical culture. After years of constant communication, they decided to venture into corset manufacturing. Starting with limited resources, Corsets Queen managed to acquire capital investment from friends and family.
With just one needle machine and a skilled tailor, they began their journey. Being based in India, a hub for textile production, they had access to various fabrics like brocade, cotton, polyester, silk, and more. However, they faced challenges in sourcing steel busks and dealing with fabric slippage.
Through extensive research and development, Corsets Queen successfully developed their own high-quality, rebate-less busks, ensuring no marks were left on the fabric. They also found solutions for fabric slippage and strengthened the corset fabric by fusing it with another fabric. Furthermore, they addressed issues with thread strength, powder-coated steel boning, spiral steel boning, and grommets.
