Corsogroep de Witte Brug

Corsogroep De Witte Brug is a Dutch flower-corso group founded in 1979 and based in Harreveld, near Lichtenvoorde. The association creates a float each year for the Lichtenvoorde Flower Parade, one of the world’s largest flower-corso events. Its floats are developed and built by members, with extra help from children and parents during the final preparations before the parade. The group’s activities also include working on the dahlia field and helping at events.

De Witte Brug is an official association with a five-member board and around 30 members. It aims to be a strong, inclusive and financially healthy group, grounded in involvement, togetherness, creativity, quality and enjoyment. Its ambition is to compete near the top of the Lichtenvoorde parade while presenting a float that entertains and surprises the public each year. Encouraging young people to participate is another priority. The group’s website showcases its past floats, with designs dating back to 2000, and provides information for sponsors, members and people interested in getting involved.
