Cosa Animalia

Cosa Animalia is a dedicated animal protection association based in Grenoble, established in 2003. Our mission centers around rescuing, caring for, and rehoming cats, as well as advocating for their welfare. All our work is accomplished by a team of passionate volunteers who believe in giving every animal a chance at a better life.

We focus on the sterilization and identification of cats, protect free-roaming cats through feeding programs, and intervene in cases of animal abuse. Our adoption program currently features over 60 cats, including adults and kittens that have faced tough beginnings. We emphasize the importance of adopting rather than buying pets, as each adoption saves not one but two lives— the one adopted and the one that can be saved by opening up space in our care.

Support from the community is essential for our operations, with over 90% of our funding directed towards veterinary expenses. Together, we strive to create a society where both animals and humans coexist harmoniously.
