CosBase.de

CosBase is a free, advertising-free online community for cosplayers and photographers who share an interest in cosplay and cosplay photography. The bilingual portal provides a space for members to showcase creative work, connect with others, and explore the hobby. Cosplay involves dressing as characters from films, animation, comics, or manga, as well as adopting clothing styles from Japan; enthusiasts often design, make, and present elaborate costumes.

CosBase supports this creative process with galleries for outfits, photographs, and videos, alongside profiles, groups, blogs, and themed content. Members can browse event and location listings, read news, and consult an information library about cosplay. The site also features photography from conventions and community events, including images made at CosBase photo studios, where attendees have been able to be photographed for free.

Visitors can register to participate, share their work, and discover other members’ projects. CosBase’s organizing team welcomes feedback and offers guidance through a quick-start guide, with support and community resources available through the portal
