COSOPHE, the Colorado Society for Public Health Education, is a statewide, volunteer-driven nonprofit that advances health education and health promotion across Colorado. Founded in 1999, it brings together health educators, health promoters, public health professionals, university students, and community members from the Rocky Mountain Region. Its members work across settings including hospitals, schools, universities, nonprofits, and government agencies, collaborating to encourage healthy behaviors and create healthier communities and environments.

COSOPHE supports its professional community through networking, resource sharing, continuing education, professional development, leadership opportunities, and mentorship. The organization also advocates for the public health profession, works to influence health policy, and shares information to strengthen health education. Members can build skills, develop their careers, gain leadership experience, connect with community partners, and contribute to public policy efforts. COSOPHE offers membership for people involved in health education and public health, including students and professionals, and promotes events such as educational sessions.
