Cláudia Costa, born in Portugal, studied architecture at the Universidade Lusíada of Porto and furthered her expertise with a Master's degree in Lighting Design from the Universidad Politécnica of Madrid. Her exceptional work in small architecture and light art installations has been recognized, published, and exhibited globally. In 2018, she co-founded Costa Guerra Architects after moving to the Middle East to work on large-scale lighting design projects and becoming the co-creator and director of the LightMe Lusail - International Light Art and Digital Media Festival.

Pedro Guerra, also born in Portugal, studied architecture at the renowned Porto School of Architecture. With an international career spanning New York, Belgium, Brazil, and Portugal, Pedro has collaborated with renowned architecture practices and developed a keen sense of integrating diverse disciplines into the design process. In 2018, he joined forces with Cláudia Costa to establish Costa Guerra Architects.
