Côte à Côte is an educational information platform focused on coastal environments and the people who use them. It recognizes that residents, holidaymakers, professional and recreational fishers, scientists, boaters, and water-sports enthusiasts all share the shoreline and have a role in protecting it. The site helps visitors better understand coastal issues by inviting them to ask questions and providing answers from experts.

Its content addresses practical and scientific topics, including beach cleaning, building near the shore, the effects of human activities on biodiversity, seaweed cultivation, and the changing levels of seas and oceans. Visitors can browse recent answers, explore resources, and engage with questions submitted by other readers. The platform also provides information about its mission and approach through sections such as “About us,” a charter associated with Les Petits Débrouillards, and details about its scientific council. Côte à Côte aims to make knowledge about the coast accessible and encourage informed discussion about its preservation.
