Coteau View Kennels

Coteau View Kennels is a South Dakota breeder and dog-training business specializing in health-tested pointing Labrador Retrievers. Based in Conde, the kennel focuses on producing versatile, trainable dogs with natural pointing instinct, strong retrieving ability, and calm, family-friendly dispositions. Its offerings include black, yellow, and chocolate puppies, as well as started and finished dogs for buyers seeking a more advanced hunting companion.

The kennel’s breeding program emphasizes health and performance. Breeding dogs receive DNA screening for common Labrador diseases and OFA certifications for hips, elbows, and eyes. The kennel states that puppies come with a 26-month hip, elbow, and eye guarantee and a lifetime genetic disease guarantee. Its dogs are hunt-test titled through AKC, HRC, and APLA programs, reflecting working ability and trainability.

Coteau View Kennels also provides stud services with approved females, gun dog training, and dog boarding. Its Labradors are bred for waterfowl and upland hunting while remaining suitable as family companions.
