About Cottage Market Cavan
Cottage Market Cavan is a vibrant social enterprise located in Cavan Town, dedicated to supporting small-scale growers, food producers, crafters, and artists within the County Cavan community. Our mission is to enhance local livelihoods by creating a marketplace that reflects the diverse talents and skills of our residents, fostering sustainable job opportunities and community self-sufficiency. We offer a range of seasonal markets throughout the year, showcasing fresh, locally grown produce and artisanal products.
The Local Green Box Cavan provides an online, zero-waste weekly farmers market where customers can choose from a selection of organically grown fruits and vegetables. Our unique DineYard initiative combines gourmet food options with community events for a delightful dining experience. Additionally, we facilitate workshops covering various skills such as foraging, food fermentation, and wood carving, promoting health, well-being, and environmental awareness.
