Coulee Country Landscape

Coulee Country Scenic Designs is a landscape design and construction company established in 2000, specializing in natural landscapes and custom water features. Based in Madison, Wisconsin, the company works primarily in southern Wisconsin and also offers design, construction, implementation, and maintenance services nationally. Its projects are designed to complement the surrounding property and reflect the character of the native landscape.

Artist and owner-designer Chris Coutre selects and oversees nearly every aspect of each feature. Coulee Country’s services include natural pools, ponds, waterfalls, water-feature mechanical systems, and residential and commercial property design. The team also provides rock and stonework, including stone selection and harvesting, flatwork, natural outcroppings, runs, and large feature stones.

For ongoing care, Coulee Country offers maintenance programs covering water-feature management, rock aging, and natural vegetation management. The company says its maintenance helps keep custom creations functional and aligned with the property and climate over time. It also offers a lifetime guarantee on all stonework.
