Councill Contract, a sister company of luxury residential furniture maker Councill Craftsmen, has been offering exceptional design and quality since its founding in 1973 by Fred and Hope Councill in Denton, North Carolina. With a reputation for producing high-end case goods and tables with exotic veneers and unparalleled wood finishes, Councill expanded its offerings in 1984 to include executive office furniture. This expansion led to the creation of the Wall Street Collection, featuring desks, credenzas, and bookcases.
In 2005, Councill introduced the Delineations line, designed by John Black, which offers sleek and modern luxury for today's executive office. Still adhering to the exacting standards developed by the Councill family, Councill Contract continues to be known for its beautiful veneers and craftsmanship. Councill Contract became part of Kindel Grand Rapids, along with sister company Councill, after their acquisition in 2016.
Today, Kindel Grand Rapids is a preeminent luxury furniture brand committed to bench-made methods and superior craftsmanship. With a focus on hand-selected veneers, hand carving, and hand finishing, Kindel Grand Rapids produces furniture that reflects a passion for the finest quality in the industry
