County Air Ambulance Trust (CAAT) has been supporting Helicopter Emergency Medical Services (HEMS) since 1993. As a registered charity in both England and Wales, as well as Scotland, CAAT offers financial aid to air ambulances and spearheads the Help Appeal. By generating income through fundraising initiatives, CAAT aims to enhance the provision of HEMS nationwide.
Through promoting best clinical practices and advancing HEMS systems, CAAT strives to enhance patient outcomes continually. Ensuring safe landing sites for air ambulances at hospitals is a core focus through the HELP Appeal campaign. With a dedicated board of Trustees and esteemed patrons, CAAT is committed to reducing preventable loss of life during medical transfers.
