Couples et Familles

Couples et Familles Nantes is an apolitical, non-denominational association offering information, consultation and counselling on family and relationship matters. Its services are open to anyone seeking support, including individuals, couples and families. Counsellors and therapists provide appointments at the association’s Nantes and Saint-Nazaire locations, creating a respectful space for active listening, dialogue and reflection. Sessions can address communication and emotions, sexuality, family relationships, separation or divorce, relationship crises and blended families.

The association also provides activities and educational sessions for young people. Topics include adolescence, relationships between parents and children, romantic relationships, sexuality, contraception, sexually transmitted infections, violence, school harassment, addictions and social media. Group discussions give participants an opportunity to share and reflect on their experiences.

Couples et Familles Nantes offers professional training in education about relationships and sexuality, as well as a longer programme in conjugal and family counselling. The related certificate is issued by the National Couples & Families Federation, which the supplied information identifies as approved by the Ministry of Social Affairs.
