Courir en Lévézou

Courir en Lévézou is a community association based in Villefranche-de-Panat, France. Founded in 1995, it brings together around 180 members and offers sporting and cultural activities for people of all ages and abilities. Its programme combines organised events, regular exercise and opportunities to enjoy the local countryside, with an emphasis on pleasure, participation and conviviality.

The association organises the Ikalana Trail du Lévézou, local and monthly walks, seasonal hikes and hiking trips. Members can also take part in athletics and use the physical fitness room at the town’s multipurpose hall. Activities are scheduled throughout the week, with options suited to different interests and routines.

Courir en Lévézou’s work extends beyond its activity programme. Volunteers help maintain walking trails, create community events such as meals, concerts and performances, and support sporting events, including the Triathlon du Lévézou organised by partner association Rodez Triathlon 12. With a strong volunteer community and a broad mix of sport, recreation and culture, Courir en Lévézou encourages residents to get active and involved in local life.
