L’amazone is a renowned initiative committed to raising awareness and funds in the fight against breast cancer, featuring its signature event, a 6 km run/walk taking place on June 1, 2025, in the heart of Le Havre. This marks its 17th edition, bringing together a vibrant community of participants, including children, runners, walkers, volunteers, and partners, all united under a resilient spirit. Inspired by the warriors of history, the event empowers women and promotes solidarity against one of the most common cancers affecting females.
Since its inception in 2009, L’amazone has partnered with the Ligue contre le Cancer of Seine-Maritime and various local organizations. This collaboration aims to disseminate vital prevention messages, encourage early screenings, and support those battling the disease. Participants not only engage in the physical challenge but also contribute to vital funding for cancer research and support services. Join us as we paint Le Havre pink, showcasing strength, courage, and community spirit in this noble cause.
