Courser Racing is a nonprofit founded in 2023 by Special Operations veterans, using ocean rowing to support veterans’ resilience, wellbeing, and sense of community. The organization creates demanding ocean-based adventures that bring participants together through teamwork, sustained mental focus, and shared physical challenges. Its philosophy is that these experiences can help veterans reconnect with purpose, rebuild a sense of identity, and regain confidence and direction. By facing hardship together, participants have opportunities to build trust, practice vulnerability, restore camaraderie, and strengthen motivation.
Courser Racing’s central offering is its ocean rowing expeditions, which are designed as experiences of therapy and renewal rather than simply athletic challenges. The organization also shares information about its vessel, leadership, and media through its website, and highlights the Atlantic 2027 initiative. Visitors can support its work through donations, explore its shop and services, and follow updates through the quarterly newsletter and social media channels. Courser Racing also acknowledges sponsors and supporters who contribute to its mission of empowering veterans through the sport of ocean rowing.
