About COVA A.C.
COVA - CONSERVACIÓN, VIDA Y AGUA is a Mexican non-profit organization dedicated to environmental protection and water resources preservation in the country. Our team of experts relies on scientific methods to monitor water cycles, detect pollution in rivers, lakes, and public wells, and raise awareness about environmental issues. Led by President and Director, Karen Legorreta, an environmental engineer with a Master's in Earth Sciences, our team includes professionals like Omar Belmonte, a seasoned environmental engineer, and Valdemar Belmonte, a geophysical engineer specializing in geohydrology.
Our innovative projects, such as Wetlands for Water Purification, focus on sustainable solutions to water pollution. Additionally, our Environmental Laboratory assesses water and soil quality using 54 different parameters. We offer services like water and soil usage consultation and management as well as monitoring of various water bodies.
