About Covenant Church of the Nazarene
Covenant Church of the Nazarene, located in Jasper, Alabama, is a vibrant community of believers formed in the summer of 2023 from the merger of two century-old congregations, Jasper First and Saragossa Churches of the Nazarene. With deep roots in the Holiness tradition dating back to 1898, this new congregation aims to celebrate life in Christ while caring for their neighbors and guiding them towards faith.
Covenant Church offers a welcoming environment for worship with services held every Sunday morning at 10:00 AM and Wednesday evenings at 6:30 PM, including a prayer time on Sundays at 9:30 AM. For those unable to attend in person, they provide online worship options, allowing members and newcomers to engage with the message and community from home. Located at the historic site of the former Jasper First Church, Covenant is dedicated to fostering spiritual growth and connection within the Jasper community and beyond.
