Coventry Irish Society (CIS) provides a service to all generations of the Irish community in Coventry and the surrounding areas. CIS (formerly known as ICARG) was set up in 1993 in response to a need to provide health and welfare services to some of the most vulnerable members of the Irish community in Coventry.

About Coventry Irish Soc
Coventry Irish Society (CIS) is a vital organization dedicated to serving the Irish community in Coventry and nearby areas. Established in 1993, CIS provides a wide array of health and welfare services aimed at supporting individuals across all generations, particularly the most vulnerable members of the community. The organization proudly offers specialized programs, including health outreach surgeries, welfare advice, and citizenship support for first through third-generation Irish individuals.
CIS is also committed to cultural enrichment, hosting events like the beloved annual St. Patrick's Day Festival and various community gatherings. In addition, the society supports Irish survivors of past institutional injustices with comprehensive advice and care. Engaging with local volunteers enhances their outreach, ensuring a culturally sensitive and supportive environment for those in need. With more than 1,500 people benefiting from CIS services in the past year alone, the organization remains a cornerstone of support, friendship, and heritage within Coventry's Irish community.
